This course continues where TC-001 ends. It introduces the function of Test Management, Scheduling and Planning, Measures & Metrics, Bug and Test Case Review and Management, defining Team Roles and planning their development, management of Test Environments and ROI, Cost of Quality and Continuous Improvement.   • (TC-003) Website & Web Application Testing (2 days)

In day 1 we explore what a Website and Web App is, the typical structure, functionality, technologies, platforms and infrastructure that make them work. We move on to consider the organisations that produce them, relevant test approaches and test planning, execution techniques and useful tools. In day 2, we test!

  • (TC-004) Bug Management (1 day)

In this course we learn about the Bug Life-cycle and management model, Triage, resolution, reporting and retesting. We go on to discuss defining and publishing practices, selection of tools, bug classification techniques, Corrective Action planning and Cost of Quality.

  • (TC-005) Test Environment Management (1 day)

In this course we discuss managing test hardware and software through; defining hardware and software needs, building and maintaining configurations, virtualisation Vs physical, storage and replacement, relation to IT budgeting and Disaster Recovery, ITIL best practice. We'll create an example Configuration Catalogue and all attendees get a full set of templates and process  guidelines to take away.

  • (TC-A1A) Exploratory Testing for agile, Agile and non Agile Teams (3 days)

Taught by our guest facilitator, Pradeep Soundararajan, this course teaches the latest testing concepts, practices and approaches from the context driven school. The course is hands-on so the participants can practice and gain experience that will stay with them the rest of their careers.
